Two weeks before the event, we meet — in person or by video — to understand the room, the story, and the people being celebrated. We sketch, model in clay, and translate the brief into a 1:1 foam mock-up signed off by you.
Blocks are frozen in our Reykjavík facility for a minimum of 96 hours at –12°C, using directional freezing to achieve the optical clarity our work is known for. We never carve pre-frozen stock ice.
A master carver and one assistant arrive 6–10 hours before doors. Every surface is finished by hand — no CNC, no moulds, no shortcuts. We leave the room spotless and the sculpture still standing.
